One hospitalized following North Austin crash
AUSTIN, TX – Emergency services in North Austin have responded to a multi-vehicle collision involving serious injuries on Research Boulevard Wednesday night.
According to the Austin-Travis County EMS Twitter page, the incident occurred at about 9:23 p.m. within the 9400 block of Research Blvd. Initial reports were of a patient being pinned inside their vehicle.
Officials were able to extract the individual and transport them to Dell Seton Medical Center to be treated for possibly life-threatening injuries. Details regarding the cause of the crash have not yet been made available by North Austin Police. We will continue to monitor this ongoing story for any pertinent updates.
