One killed, multiple others seriously injured after collision on Loop 360
AUSTIN, TX- A crash occurred early Friday on northbound State Highway Loop 360 that sent five victims to the hospital and ultimately killed one, according to KXAN.
The rear-end collision occurred at approximately 1:00am when a white four-door vehicle was violently rear ended by a red SUV, ejecting the driver of the red SUV and injuring four passengers in the other vehicle. Five people in total from both vehicles were transported to the hospital, where they remain in critical condition. One of the victims who was transported has since died from accident-related injuries. Officials have closed the roadway on northbound Loop 360 from Westlake Drive to Courtyard drive to investigate and clean the wreckage.
