One person suffers life-threatening injuries in Northgate Blvd pedestrian crash

AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was sent to the hospital in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle on Northgate Boulevard last night, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident occurred in the 9000 block of Northgate Blvd at about 7 p.m.

Initial reports stated that the victim was unconscious after being hit by the unnamed vehicle.

The victim, who has yet to be publicly identified, was taken to Dell Seton for the treatment of life-threatening injuries.

ATCEMS advised drivers to avoid the area, as traffic delays and road closures were likely.
