Overturned vehicle causes delays on I-35

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in South Austin responded to an accident that shut down multiple lanes along Interstate 35 late Wednesday morning.

The crash happened shortly before 11:45 a.m. along the I-35 onramp from East William Cannon Drive, according to KXAN,. Police say the vehicle was overturned as a result of the crash. However, no injuries have been reported as a result.

The on-ramp was shut down for a few hours so the wreckage could be cleared, causing major delays on both I-35 and the frontage road. All lanes have since been reopened.
