Pedestrian Critical After Being Hit By Car
A woman was flown to the hospital in critical condition after a pedestrian crash, according to a January 19 article by OA Online.
The incident occurred at the intersection of 42nd Street and Tom Green Avenue at 9:50 AM. 53-year-old Abla Almaiah was crossing the street when he was struck by a red Chevrolet Colorado driven by 23-year-old Dana Gonzales. Gonzales unfortunately struck Almaiah after avoiding a collision with 54-year-old Renee Vincent’s blue Dodge Caravan. Almaiah was sent to a hospital in Lubbock to get treated.
