Pedestrian fatally struck by car near Ben White Blvd
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Ben White Boulevard this evening, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident occurred in the 1800 block of the W Ben White Blvd service road at about 6:40 p.m., when an adult pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been released, died at the scene despite resuscitative efforts.
The driver was not reported as injured.
Authorities advised travelers to avoid the area, as heavy traffic delays were present due to road closures near the scene.
