Pedestrian in critical condition after San Antonio crash

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A San Antonio man was hospitalized in serious condition after being struck by a pickup truck northwest of downtown Tuesday morning.

According to KSAT, the man was attempting to cross Marbach Road at about 11:30 a.m. when he was struck by a pickup truck near the intersection with Horal Drive.

He was transported to University Hospital to be treated for a potentially life-threatening head injury.

The driver of the pickup remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
