Pedestrian injured after being hit in South Austin
AUSTIN, TX – One pedestrian is in the hospital after being struck along a busy South Austin street early Friday morning.
According to a report by the Austin American Stateman, the accident happened within the 700 blocks of East Stassney Lane, a few blocks east of South Congress Avenue.
Police were forced to shut down the eastbound lane of Stassney Ln. for a few hours Friday morning, they have since been reopened. Information on how the pedestrian was struck and their condition as of Friday evening has not yet been made available.
