Pedestrian killed after being hit by a DPS trooper in Downtown Austin
AUSTIN, TX – According to CBS Austin, a pedestrian was killed early this morning after being hit by a DPS trooper in Downtown Austin.
The accident took place just west of the state capital at around 3:40 a.m. A 50-year-old man was reportedly lying in the roadway. The officer was patrolling the area when the crash occurred.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. This post will be updated if new details emerge.
