Pedestrian killed in auto collision in NE Austin
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car in North Austin Tuesday morning.
According to CBS Austin, the collision occurred shortly after 8:50 a.m. near the intersection of Cameron Road and Ferguson Lane just north of Little Walnut Creek.
Paramedics rushed the injured pedestrian to the hospital, where the victim was pronounced dead. No information regarding their identity has been released, pending notification of family members.
Officials say the driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the police investigation.
