Pedestrian killed in late-night I-35 accident
AUSTIN, TX – A pedestrian was killed in an accident on Interstate 35 Tuesday night, according to the official Twitter feed of the Austin-Travis County EMS.
The accident happened around 11:50 p.m. at the 4200 block of North I-35, in the lower deck.
Authorities performed CPR on the unidentified victim, but they were still pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
ATCEMS advised travelers to be aware of heavy traffic delays and possible road closures and advised drivers to slow down for first responders in the area.
