Pedestrian struck by hit-and-run vehicle
SAN ANTONIO, TX – A man was hit by a pickup truck following a bar fight on Thursday, KSAT reports.
The accident happened in the 800 block of North Alamo Street, located downtown, at approximately 2 a.m.
Police say that one of the individuals leaving the bar fight hit the man with a vehicle and fled the scene.
After the person was hit, a different vehicle drove by the scene firing gunshots into the air.
The victim, a man in his 30’s, was transported to Brooke Army Medical Center.
The original cause of the bar fight is unclear.
The driver of the pickup truck may face charges regarding failure to stop and render aid to the injured victim.
