Person critically injured in rollover crash on Monterey Oaks near Hwy 290
AUSTIN, TX – One person was critically injured during a single-vehicle rollover crash near Highway 290 and the Mopac Expressway this evening, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The collision occurred at 8:12 p.m. on Monterey Oaks Boulevard, west of the Mopac Expy and near the ramp to W Hwy 290 eastbound, after a vehicle crashed and overturned.
One person was pinned within the wreckage and knocked unconscious. The victim was extricated from the crash by emergency crews, who then performed CPR. They were taken to St. David’s South to receive treatment for critical, life-threatening wounds.
A second person was injured in the accident, but refused treatment at the scene.
