Person hospitalized after being trapped in crash on Bastrop Hwy
AUSTIN, TX – One person was taken to the hospital after being trapped in the wreckage of a crash on Bastrop Highway early this morning, according to Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened in the 200 block of Bastrop Highway southbound at 1:37 a.m., when one vehicle crashed, trapping an adult victim inside.
The victim was rescued by emergency crews and declared a trauma alert. They were then taken to St. David’s South with injuries that were possibly serious but were not expected to be life-threatening.
No other people were hurt in the crash.
