Person hurt in boat propeller accident on Lake Travis

AUSTIN, TX – A person was injured at Lake Travis Saturday afternoon following a boating accident, according to the official Twitter account of the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened in the 15800 block of Chateau Avenue at 4:53 p.m. when a person was hurt by a boat propeller.

The adult victim suffered non-critical injuries that were not expected to be life-threatening.

The circumstances of the accident and the victim’s identity were not released by ATCEMS.
