Person seriously injured, pinned beneath vehicle in I-35 accident

AUSTIN, TX – A person was injured in an accident early Saturday morning on Interstate 35 South, according to the official Twitter account of the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident occurred near the 3600 block of I-35 South just after 1:45 a.m.

The victim is an adult who was pinned beneath a vehicle in the accident. There is no information available at this time regarding their identity.

They were pinned beneath a vehicle and had to be extracted by emergency officials. They were then taken to the hospital with injuries described as serious, but not expected to be life-threatening.
