Person severely injured after motorcycle and vehicle collide on Hwy 290
AUSTIN, TX – One person was severely injured during a motorcycle accident on Highway 290 late last night, according to the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The crash happened on westbound US-290, near Scenic Brook Drive in the West Oak Hill area, at 10:10 p.m., when a motorcycle and another vehicle collided.
One person was declared a trauma alert and was reportedly unconscious when authorities arrived. The victim was taken to St. David’s South for the treatment of severe, possibly life-threatening wounds.
Drivers were asked to avoid the area due to traffic delays and possible road closures.
The victim’s identity and the cause of the crash are not yet available.
