Police investigate deadly single-vehicle collision on Kingwood Dr
HOUSTON, TX – The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal collision that occurred on the 3100 block of Kingwood Dr Saturday.
Alexandria Calderon, 25, was driving a black Hyundai Tucson east on the 3100 block of Kingwood Dr around 5:35 a.m. when she lost control of the vehicle, went onto the sidewalk, and plowed into a light pole. She continued heading east until she hit a tree, went airborne, and plunged into a pond. She was thrown from the vehicle during the collision.
First responders pronounced Calderon dead at the scene.
The HPD Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
