Police Released Fatal Crash Surveillance Video
Police have release survaillance footage of a fatal pedestrian crash, according to a March 4 article by CBS Austin.
The incident occurred on February 29, in the 200 block of South Guadalupe Street. 69-year-old Eligio Vasquez was struck by a vehicle and died at the Seton-Hays later. Based on the video, police have estimated that the vehicle involved was a ’90’s model of a red pickup truck, probably a Chevrolet S-10, Ford Ranger, Toyota Tacoma, or an Isuzu. They also thought the vehicle may have minor damage from the right side. Nevertheless, investigations are still ongoing.
