Rush-hour collision blocks lanes on Research Blvd.
AUSTIN, TX – Officials in North Austin were forced to shut down at least one lane on Research Boulevard following a rush-hour crash Thursday evening.
According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the crash occurred just east of the intersection with Research Blvd. and Pond Springs Road just off of Highway 183 at about 6:22 p.m.
Details regarding how many vehicles were involved in the crash or if any injuries were sustained as a result have yet to be released. Authorities are urging motorists to avoid the area throughout Thursday evening so the crash may be investigated and cleared from the roadway.
