Rush hour crash blocks busy North Austin intersection

AUSTIN, TX – Authorities in North Austin were forced to close at least one lane along a busy intersection on North Lamar Boulevard.

The accident happened on the North Lamar Blvd. off-ramp towards West Anderson Lane at 6:33 p.m., according to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page. 

No injures have been reported as a result of the crash. However, this situation is still ongoing. Officials are urging motorists to find an alternate route from North Lamar Blvd. to W. Anderson Ln. so the crash can be investigated and cleared from the roadway.
