Rush hour crash reported on East Riverside Drive
AUSTIN, TX – The Austin Police Department responded to a reported crash along East Riverside drive Wednesday evening.
According to an Austin, Travis County Traffic Report, Officials responded to the incident at the intersection of Riverside Dr. and Royal Crest Drive at about 5:40 p.m.
Police were forced to shut down lanes on Riverside Dr. which is likely to cause a severe traffic jam during Wednesday evening rush hour.
There has been no word on how many were involved in the crash or if they sustained any injuries. This situation is ongoing, we will provide further information as it becomes available.
