Rush-hour crash shuts down 6th Street
AUSTIN, TX – Officials in downtown Austin were forced to close a portion of West 6th Street following a rush-hour collision Tuesday evening.
According to the Austin-Travis County traffic report page, the accident occurred within the 300 block of W 6th St. near the intersection with Guadelupe Street shortly before 5:30 p.m.
No injuries have been reported as a direct result of the crash. However, this situation is still developing. Motorists have been advised to avoid the intersection as delays are likely throughout Tuesday evening’s rush hour traffic.
