San Antonio Police arrest suspect who fled the scene of a fatal 18-wheeler crash
SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials with the San Antonio Police Department have the man in custody who they believe fled the scene of a fatal 18-wheeler crash near Interstate 35 early Tuesday morning.
According to My San Antonio, police responded to reports of a truck driving erratically along Austin Street at bout 3:15 p.m. The witness continued to follow the track until they discovered it had flipped on its side a few blocks away.
Upon their arrival at the scene, officials found a 45-year-old male occupant dead in the cab of the truck. Officials spotted 32-year-old Sacramento Martinez attempting to run away from the crash.
Martinez, who had an active felony warrant out of Austin, was arrested and booked in connection to the crash as well as other crimes.
