San Antonio woman dies following southside pedestrian accident

SAN ANTONIO, TX – A woman who was struck by a car south of downtown San Antonio Thursday has died from her injuries.

According to KTSA, the unidentified 60-year-old woman was struck by a pickup truck within the intersection of Probandt Street and West Theo Avenue at about 4:30 p.m. The driver remained at the scene and attempted CPR on the victim until paramedics arrived.

The victim was rushed to BAMC where she succumbed to her injuries shortly after.

Officials do not believe any charges will be brought against the driver who had a green light at the time of the crash.
