San Antonio woman seriously injured after I-35 crash
SAN ANTONIO, TX – Officials north of San Antonio have reported one woman in critical condition following a collision on I-35 Friday morning.
According to KENS, the accident occurred in the southbound lanes of I-35 near Rittiman Road at about 10:30 a.m. Initial reports were of a 24-year-old female driver losing control of her vehicle and striking both a concrete wall and center median.
The victim was rushed to Brooke Army Medical Center to be treated for potentially life-threatening head and internal injuries.
An investigation into what may have caused the driver to lose control of her vehicle is underway.
