Seven people, including two children, injured in accident

AUSTIN, TX – Seven people, including two children, were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle collision this evening, according to the official Twitter account of Austin-Travis County EMS.

The incident happened at 6:39 p.m. at Cadillac Drive and Farm-to-Market Road 969.

Two children and an adult were taken to the hospital with injuries described as serious and life-threatening. An additional adult experienced injuries that were serious, but not expected to be life-threatening.

Three more adults were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

ATCEMS advised travelers to avoid the area and to expect traffic delays.
