Teen Died, Four Injured After Five-Vehicle Crash
A teenager was killed and four were injured after a five-vehicle wreck, according to a January 31 article by Patch.
The incident happened on January 29, 10:00 AM, at the intersection of Collinfield Drive and West Rundberg Lane. A Chevrolet Silverado collided into the side of a Buick LaCrosse and into the front of a Toyota Camry. Debris from the collision hit a Ford Expedition. After the initial crash, the Buick LaCrosse crashed into the Ford Mustang.
Consequently, two people inside the Chevrolet Silverado and two others inside the Toyota Camry were sent to a local hospital to get treatment. Sadly, 19-year-old Javier Elijah Garcia died at 10:54 AM despite being taken to Dell Seton Medical Center.
This incident is the 11th fatal traffic crash in Austin for 2020.
