Three people taken to hospital after Montopolis car accident
AUSTIN, TX – Three people were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle car accident in the Montopolis area this morning, according to a tweet by the Austin-Travis County EMS.

The accident happened around 5817 E Riverside Drive, near the intersection with Grove Boulevard, when two vehicles collided just after 10 a.m. One person was trapped within the wreckage for about 15 minutes while authorities worked to extricate them.
The trapped patient and another victim in the crash were taken to St. David’s South as trauma alerts with potentially serious injuries. Another person was taken to Dell Seton Hospital with what ATCEMS described as a “potentially serious medical condition.”
The identities of the victims have not been released at this time.
