Tractor-trailer crash closes intersection near Austin airport
TRAVIS COUNTY, TX – A busy intersection southeast of Austin was closed while a crane was called in to clear an overturned semi-truck Tuesday morning.
The accident occurred at the intersection of FM-973 and FM-812 just outside the Circut of the Americas race track, according to KXAN.
Officials have not reported any injuries immediately following the crash. However, the intersection was closed for several hours while the crane worked to clear the wreckage.
Police are currently investigating what may have caused the accident.
