Trooper injured in vehicle accident identified
LUFKIN, TX – A trooper injured while conducting traffic outside his vehicle on Saturday was identified by The Texas Department of Public Safety, Kens 5 reports.
The trooper, 45-year-old Randall Noe, was treated for minor injuries at CHI St. Luke’s Hospital in Lufkin and later released.
The accident occurred on State Highway 94 at approximately 8:30 p.m.
The driver, 51-year-old Dale Levy, struck the trooper with his Chevrolet pickup truck as he was trying to reduce his speed.
Levy did not have any injuries.
