Two Businesses Under TABC Investigation After Deadly DUI Collision
The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission is investigating two businesses after a fatal DUI crash, according to a February 19 article by Fox 7 Austin.
24-year-old Paul Joseph Garcia Jr. was drunk when he crashed into a pedestrian in the 10000 block of Menchaca Road around 10:30 PM on Saturday, February 15. In response, the TABC is now investigating whether two alcohol retailers served him despite showing signs of intoxication. Doing so is prohibited under Texas law. Nevertheless, the TABC is refusing to identify the two establishments until the investigation ends.
