Two Dead After Being Struck By Man Rushing To Airport
A man rushing to the airport crashed into two people, killing them, according to a January 21 article by Fort Worth Star-Telegram .
The incident happened on January 21, in Highway 71. 21-year-old Joseph Vincent Diaz was driving 100 mph and weaving through traffic. He then crashed into a vehicle trying to cross the highway. The occupants, 49-year-old Jose Velazquez and 45-year-old Joanne Menchaca, died at the scene. Meanwhile, Diaz was hospitalized due to his injuries.
