Two hospitalized after two-vehicle crash on State Highway 71
AUSTIN, TX- Two victims were hospitalized and one refused medical treatment after a two-vehicle crash on westbound State Highway 71 on Wednesday night, according to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services.
At approximately 7:04pm, a collision was reported in the westbound lanes of State Highway 71 E and Kellam Road. Three victims were involved in the accident. One was initially pinned in their vehicle, but when officials arrived at the scene no extrications were necessary. Two victims were transported to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, one with potentially life-threatening injuries, and one with serious injuries. The third involved refused transport.
