Two people injured in speed-related rear-end crash in Del Valle
DEL VALLE, TX – Two people were injured during a speed-related crash on State Highway 71 on Tuesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The accident occurred east of Del Valle at a traffic light on SH-71, near Norwood Lane and Kellam Road, at 8:41 a.m.
The 24-year-old driver of a white 2017 Ford failed to control the speed of her vehicle, causing the front of the Ford to crash into the back of a white 2018 Ford being driven by a 25-year-old man.
Both drivers sustained possible injuries during the accident.
