Two people seriously injured, another two hurt in Airport Blvd crash
AUSTIN, TX – Two people were seriously injured and another two were hurt in a two-vehicle accident on Airport Boulevard last night, according to a tweet by the Austin-Travis County EMS.
#ATCEMS & @AustinFireInfo are on scene of a Vehicle Rescue at Manor Rd / Airport Blvd(21:08). Initial reports of a 2 vehicle collision, with 1 patient that was briefly pinned in their vehicle. That patient has been extricated & declared a Trauma Alert, more information to follow

The collision happened at the intersection of Manor Road and Airport Boulevard at 9:08 p.m.
Two vehicles collided, causing one person to become briefly trapped inside their vehicle before being extracted from the wreckage by emergency crews.
The person who had been trapped was taken to the hospital with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries. Another individual was also taken to the hospital with serious wounds, though they are expected to survive.
Two people were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities did not release the identities of the victims or the circumstances of the accident.
