UPDATE: Police identify Bicyclist killed in north Austin crash

AUSTIN, TX – Officials in North Austin have identified the bicyclist who was killed in a previously reported collision near U.S. 183 on Wednesday, August 26th.

According to Fox 7 Austin, Travis Larson, 32, was killed when he was struck by the driver of a Toyota Corolla near the intersection of U.S. 183 frontage road and Lake Creek Parkway shortly before 10:30 p.m.

The driver of the vehicle that hit Larson attempted to perform CPR immediately following the crash. Unfortunately, they were unsuccessful and Larson died at the scene.

No charges have bee filed against the driver as of yet. An investigation into the cause of the crash is still underway.
