UPDATE: Police identify pedestrian killed in crash on Burnet Road

AUSTIN, TX – According to CBS Austin, Police have identified the pedestrian killed in an accident on Burnet Road on Saturday, October 10th.

The accident took place at around 2 a.m. when 52-year-old George Grant walking on the roadway. A Ford F-150 struck Grant. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

The truck’s driver fled the crash scene. Police have yet to identify a suspect but believe that the truck likely has driver’s side damage.

The investigation into this crash is still ongoing. If more details are reported, then this story will be updated.
