UPDATE: Scooter rider identified following fatal crash on S Congress
AUSTIN, TX – According to KXAN, authorities have identified the scooter rider who died following a fatal crash with a truck on S Congress.
The accident occurred on April 9th at around 2 p.m. 50-year-old Paulo Mitchell was riding a scooter when he collided with a box truck. He was hospitalized due to the crash and was later pronounced dead.
The truck’s driver was uninjured and no charges are expected. This story will be updated if new details emerge.
