US-79 in Thorndale closed due to crash
THORNDALE, TX- Lanes of westbound US-79 have been closed near County Road 427 due to a crash, according to the Austin area Texas Department of Transportation.
At approximately 7:34am, officials responded to a crash in Thorndale on US-79 that resulted in the roadway being shut down in the area. The crash is still under investigation and the roadway has not been reopened as of Wednesday afternoon. The cause is unknown at this time and further details about the incident have not been released. Information on any related injuries is pending.
