Vehicle crashes with horse, kills passenger
ODESSA, TX – San Angelo Live reports that Texas Department of Public Safety investigators have confirmed that a vehicle traveling south on Highway 35 hit a horse, resulting in at least one death.
The driver attempted to swerve and dodge a horse that appeared in the middle of the road just before 5:00 a.m., but unfortunately reacted too late.
The passenger, 45-year-old Maria Muniz De Maria, was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident, but was killed.
