AUSTIN, TX – Investigators with the Austin Police Department have identified the man killed in a north Austin crash earlier this month.
According to KXAN, the incident occurred shortly before 7:30 p.m. within the 9100 block of Research Boulevard on September 15th.
Police say a 2016 Ford Escape driven by 38-year-old Austin Boggus left the roadway and crossed the median before crashing into a concrete sign. Boggus was rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries three days later.
An investigation into what may have caused Boggus to lose control of his vehicle remains underway.
