Victim identified in North Austin hit-and-run

AUSTIN, TX – North Austin police have released the identity of the pedestrian killed in an early morning hit-and-run collision last Thursday, July 23rd.

As previously reported, the crash occurred within the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 183 at the intersection with Burnet Road. A number of passersby contacted police regarding a dead body in the middle of the road.

According to CBS Austin, 43-year-old Sarah Christina Davadie was found unresponsive in the street upon the arrival of emergency services. Any identifying information on the driver has not yet been made available.

Police are asking for the public’s help in providing any information that may lead to a suspect in this case.
