Woman injured in car crash near ACC Highland Campus

AUSTIN, TX – One person was injured in a two-vehicle collision on Airport Boulevard in north Austin on Wednesday morning, according to a crash report published by MyAccident.org.

The crash occurred on 6413 Airport Boulevard near the Highland Campus of Austin Community College at 8:37 a.m., when the driver of a silver 2011 Chevrolet ran a red light.

The driver, a 46-year-old Austin man, then collided with the front-left of a silver 2007 Mercury driven by a 44-year-old woman, also from Austin.

The woman received a non-critical injury in the collision, which caused moderate damage to both vehicles.

The driver of the Chevrolet received a citation for failing to obey a traffic light.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.
