Woman loses arm in possible street racing accident
HOUSTON, TX – According to KHOU, four people were injured in a possible street racing accident on Sunday.
Houston police have identified two men and two women who were inside a silver Camaro that was possibly struck by another vehicle on the Southwest Freeway. The Camaro drifted off the road due to the impact and smashed into construction equipment on the side of the road.
All four people involved in the accident are expected to live, however one woman lost her arm.
The driver mentioned that they had all just left a bar. Alcohol was also found inside the vehicle.
A witness had reported seeing the Camaro speeding and possibly racing another vehicle.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. A DWI investigation is underway as well.
