Woman reported injured after teen driver causes crash on FM 973
AUSTIN, TX – A woman was injured following a collision with a teen driver on FM 973 Road earlier this week, according to the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).
The crash happened east of Lake Walter E. Long on FM 973, near Highway 130, at 8:16 a.m. Tuesday, when the 18-year-old driver of a gold 2004 GMC failed to maintain a single lane. The front of his vehicle collided with a gray 2019 Toyota being driven by a 68-year-old woman.
The female driver sustained possible injuries in the crash.
The 18-year-old was not reported as injured.
