Woman severely injured in multi-vehicle crash on RM 2244 in Barton Creek
BARTON CREEK, TX – A woman sustained severe injuries during a multi-vehicle crash on RM 2244 Road in the Barton Creek area on Wednesday morning, according to the Texas Department of Transportation.
The crash happened at 7177 RM 2244 Rd, near Barton Creek Boulevard, at 10:42 a.m., when the 31-year-old driver of a white 2015 Chevrolet failed to maintain his attention on the roadway.
He then rear-ended a tan 2010 Nissan, which was pushed into the back of a third vehicle.
The driver of the Nissan, a 57-year-old woman, sustained severe injuries in the crash.
The driver of the Chevrolet was not hurt in the accident.
No information was available on the third driver and their vehicle.
