Suspected impaired driver fatally collides with another vehicle on Atascocita Rd
HUMBLE, TX – An alleged impaired driver fatally collided with another driver at 2325 Atascocita Rd on Saturday.
Eduardo Gonzalez was driving a white 2005 Chevrolet Silverado southwest on Atascocita Rd when he collided with Jorge Moreno Tototzintle’s gray Nissan Altima as Tototzintle was exiting a private driveway around 11:44 p.m.
The Silverado and the Altima collided. It is unclear if the Altima failed to yield the right of way or if the Silverado was speeding.
First responders pronounced Tototzintle dead at 11:56 p.m.
Authorities determined Gonzalez was impaired and charged him with Intoxication Manslaughter.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the incident.
