18 wheeler and RV crash and ignite on U.S. 290
CYPRESS, TX- An incident involving two large vehicles caused traffic on Saturday morning on U.S. 290, abc13 reports.
Both vehicles were heading east on U.S. 290 around 7:26a.m. when the empty H-E-B truck lightly struck the back of the RV.
The 18 wheeler then caught on fire.
The RV contained two people and two dogs at the time of the incident. It had a small trailer attached, which contained a Polaris slingshot. The RV was heading towards Galveston for a Lone Star Rally.
Those involved in the traffic were encouraged to take Katy Hockley Road or FM 2920 as a detour.
No one was reported injured.
