Toddler killed after crash involving cement truck in Houston
HOUSTON, TX- A toddler was killed after a cement truck fell from an overpass onto a vehicle traveling on East Sam Houston Parkway on Friday, according to CNN.
Police say the cement truck fell from an overpass near the intersection of Wood Forest Drive and East Sam Houston Parkway, landing on a vehicle traveling on the highway.
The vehicle was crushed, killing a toddler entrapped in the car. The toddler’s twin, mother, and grandmother all survived and were transported to an area hospital for treatment. The cement truck driver refused transport.
